       James A. Quarles, Sr., founder and Qualifying Broker of Quarles & Associates, Inc., started in the real estate business in 1971, at the age of eighteen, working fulltime as a salesperson and construction manager for a development company.  He has been involved in the development and sales of real property in Douglas County, Carroll County, Paulding County, Haralson County, Heard County and Henry County.  He has worked as a sales agent with McCreary Realty and as a sales agent / associate broker with Sunwest Properties, Inc.  In 1987 James and another Broker/Developer started Matthews and Quarles Properties, a company which then, as now, buys, sells, develops, and finances real property.  In 1995, James incorporated Quarles & Associates, Inc., a Georgia Licensed Real Estate Brokerage Company offering a full service Brokerage which included income tax and accounting services combined with property management.

       James A. Quarles, Jr. (Jimmy) joined the firm as a sales associate in 2002.  Jimmy was born and raised in Georgia, educated in the Douglas County School System, and attended the University of West Georgia. He is married to Kari Quarles (formerly Blankenship), and together they have three children.  Jimmy is the one of the founders and executive vice president of an internet Web design company (Winston Web World, Inc.) which has a  premier photo conversion division (My Life Remembered)..  Jimmy works full time as a real estate salesperson and Web designer providing him the opportunity to represent his duties to the fullest.

       Quarles & Associates, Inc. was formed as, and remains, a family business with only one goal in mind and that is to promote the company and provide the best customer service possible. Therefore, if one agent has a prior commitment, another of our agents can fill in until your agent becomes available.  This situation is unique in the real estate business.
